Backend Platform Engineer

We are looking for thoughtful and wellrounded platform engineers to join our team. As an individual, you value team over personal success, and will work with a global team of international developers. You will work across multiple agile product teams and play an important part in our engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building a trading platform. Responsibilities: Architect intelligent solutions that include backend, client and front-end systems Create a backend framework for running trading system order execution Integrate with several 3rd parties mainly crypto exchanges using REST, Websockets FIX. Create robust REST APIs for consumption by mobile, web clients and third parties Improve the reliability and availability of our systems Develop a secure and scalable platform Deliver testable, maintainable and high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop Be a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team, and work in an environment that supports individual growth through challenging tasks along the freedom to acquire new skills. Qualifications and Experiences: Strong experience in C# or other .NET languages for backend development. Experience with Python primarily for data analysis and research work. Passionate about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about software architecture across the frontend, backend, and the APIs that glue them together Experience in designing and building scalable, fault tolerant, and secure distributed systems Understanding of how to build instrumented, observable software systems Ideally would have experience building microservices on top of Kubernetes or other container orchestration system Experience with large scale SQL and NoSQL databases Understand complex data structures and algorithm Have a solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure or GCP Value having fun, staying positive, and learning new things, and enjoy working closely together with your team to bring value to your stakeholders Passionate about what you do, and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience 5 years of experience as a full stack software engineer Nice to have: Knowledge and/or experience working on Blockchain-related projects and/or algorithmic trading systems.
