Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - PyTest/Playwright Testing

As a QA Automation Engineer, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Understand business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. - Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing. - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Pytest. - Design and execute API automation test cases using Rest Assured. - Validate application data through SQL queries and database testing. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Identify, track, and report defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and test execution activities. - Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong experience in Functional Testing and Test Automation. - Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest. - Experience in API Automation using Rest Assured. - Good knowledge of SQL and database testing. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. If you possess experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, knowledge of Git version control, and experience in automation framework design and maintenance, these skills would be considered as preferred.
