Fraud Technical Specialist- SQL

You will be joining the Fraud team at Firstsource Solutions Limited as a Fraud Technical Specialist based in Bangalore. With a preferred minimum of 2-4 years of experience in writing strong SQL queries related to fraud deduction and anomaly detection, you will play a crucial role in implementing the Technical Fraud strategy to protect the business through data-driven fraud controls. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Fraud Technical Lead to design and optimize fraud detection rules by analyzing large-scale data. - Investigate emerging fraud trends by examining data from multiple systems, identifying patterns, and suggesting actionable countermeasures. - Develop advanced SQL queries and customized reports to address business-critical questions and provide clear insights to stakeholders. - Conduct user acceptance testing of fraud platform upgrades and enhancements to ensure system quality assurance. - Collaborate with internal support teams and external vendors to resolve system incidents, prioritize issues, and escalate when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in advanced SQL, capable of writing complex queries involving joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregate functions. - Experience working with large datasets in an enterprise data warehouse environment such as Oracle or Google Cloud Platform. - Strong analytical mindset to translate business problems into data-driven solutions. - Ability to design and test fraud detection logic based on behavioral and transactional data. - Numerical aptitude with experience in data analysis or fraud analytics preferred. - Prior fraud experience is beneficial but not mandatory, as technical and analytical skills are essential. - Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in managing competing priorities.
