ITIL Release and Deployment Specialist

As a Technical Release Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and management of technical releases. Here is what you will be doing: - Define Technical Release deployment and Management processes - Incorporate Continual Service Improvement into Release Management processes - Manage and maintain an overview/baseline of all versions of all products in a MBP software package - Ensure that each release build is complete - Create Harness build tickets and deliver them to Deployment Management while communicating contents - Assure the quality of release instructions - Understand and manage technical/system dependencies between various components in a release, including back out processes - Ensure no regression errors arise from packaging sequence - Deploy each defined release consistently in every environment it is installed to - Identify potential improvements to deployment artefacts and tooling for the various components - Lead and coordinate all deployments into environments, including scheduling deployments proactively or at environment owner's request - Handle on-demand deployment requests, negotiate flexibility, challenge stakeholders, and manage expectations - Create management playbook, organize mock events, orchestrate production deployment events, and provide enhanced oversight post-deployment - Drive resolution of complex triage issues, lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to find solutions to unblock release testing or raise engineering defects by driving to the root cause What you bring to the table: - Overall experience of 8+ years - Mandatory experience in Release Management and deployment - Knowledge of Jenkins, Harness, CICD, Azure - Applications expertise in OneNote, Teams, Outlook, Jira, SNOW - Build tool proficiency in Bit Bucket, SVN, GIT, GitLab, Maven, etc. - Soft Skills including Communication, Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking, Adaptability, Time Management, Prioritization, Collaboration, Teamwork, Leadership, and Stakeholder Management If you are someone with a background in Release Management and deployment, along with the necessary technical skills and experience, we would like to hear from you.
