Software Architecture Advisor

As a Solution Architect - Java in the Payment domain at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in leading and building new cloud native applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating thought leadership in the sales process and facilitating the hand-off to delivery of complex solutions involving multiple products and services - Influencing senior management on enterprise-level innovation roadmap strategy for product development - Providing solution leadership on complex projects and supporting RFPs by collaborating with multiple Fiserv divisions - Developing design specifications, infrastructure diagrams, and other system-related information - Maintaining a detailed knowledge of company solutions, products, and services - Managing pre-to-post sales handoff to implementations for reduced time to revenue - Implementing solutions with a focus on reuse and industry standards at program, enterprise, or operational scope - Engaging extensively with development teams, enterprise/software architects, and business analysts - Applying analytical skills to address corporate strategy needs and understand technology specifics To be successful in this role, you will need: - 10+ years of experience in large-scale IT system development, design, and implementation with project management, resource management, business analysis, and leadership skills - Familiarity with hardware, software, and network systems functions - 5+ years of experience in technical support, implementation, and/or product development with strong consultative and strategic sales support skills - Strong understanding of modern data, software, and cloud practices, with knowledge in mainframe operations being preferred - Exceptional communication, presentation, and emotional intelligence skills - Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to understand connections between layers of business operations - A Bachelors degree Additionally, it would be advantageous to have some working experience with other payment solutions, including mainframe environments.
