About the role
Design of Plastic Components To study project deliverable and requirements (Input study) Flow rate and restriction, vibration, space available, other unspecified VoC To design required components as per performance parameters To generate error free drawings Review the designs with Mfg team Attend trials as & when required Design standards for plastic parts Follow CCPM process for project completion. Leading the design and development process of plastic products from concept to production. Conducting feasibility studies and performing technical evaluations to ensure product functionality and manufacturability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing experts to optimize product design and performance. Utilizing CAD software creo to create detailed product designs and engineering drawings. Conducting design reviews, prototyping, and testing to validate product performance and quality. Providing technical support and guidance throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting issues during manufacturing and assembly. Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Adhering to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards to ensure successful project completion. Experience in tool design for plastic injection molding processes, including tooling selection, optimization, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, materials selection, and manufacturing techniques. Utilizing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize product designs for efficient production. Should have basic understanding of engine Should have understanding on filtration product , design selection Should have knowledge of plastic parts, mould design Should have knowledge of Pro-e, Auto Cad Should have knowledge of APQP/TS 16949 Should know engineering system Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or Diploma in IGTR related field. Proven experience in plastic product design, tool design and injection molding processes. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools. Knowledge of quality tools: APQP/TS 16949 Strong understanding of plastics materials, properties, and manufacturing processes. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Prior experience with project management and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a passion for innovation and continuous learning. Creo Pro-E (Mandatory) / other 3D modelling software
