About the role
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a MuleSoft API Core Developer in Chennai, India. We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft API Core Developer with 5–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in API-led connectivity, system integrations, and building scalable APIs. What a typical day looks like: Design, develop, and implement APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Follow API-led connectivity approach (Experience, Process, System APIs) Build reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators Develop RAML specifications and API contracts Work with REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, QA, and business stakeholders Ensure security, governance, and best practices in API development Manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines Provide production support and troubleshooting Troubleshooting: Expert-level skills in debugging data ingestion issues, resolving Elasticsearch query issues and performing root cause analysis (RCA) Collaboration: Working with DevOps, software engineers, and IT teams to implement log management strategies. Mentorship: Assisting in mentoring junior members and creating operation documentation. Kibana & Visualization: Creating sophisticated Kibana dashboards, time-series analysis, and using Kibana Lens for visualization. I/CD Tools: Proficient in automating deployment pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and Mule Maven Plugin The experience we're looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Strong experience with MuleSoft Any point Platform Proficiency in DataWeave (2.0) Experience with RESTful API development and integration patterns Hands-on experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio Knowledge of RAML / OpenAPI specifications Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security practices Experience with message queues (JMS, Kafka, etc.) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing ELK components. CI/CD Integration: Integrating ELK with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI Connectors & Adapters: Extensive experience with standard connectors, including Database, Salesforce, File, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, SOAP, JMS/ActiveMQ, and Kafka. Containerization (Bonus): Knowledge of deploying Mule applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Runtime Fabric). Debugging & Tuning: Skilled in using Mule Debugger and analyzing application logs, thread dumps, and heap dumps for performance tuning Any point Platform Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with Any point Studio 7.x, Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange. MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD Level 1 or above) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) Exposure to microservices architecture Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology Exposure to domain areas like Banking, Retail, or Healthcare What you'll receive for the great work you provide: Health Insurance PTO
