Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Team Lead, Component Engineering located in Chennai location.

Responsible to support different design/Manufacturing site for Product, Part, drawing and other design related process and maintenance of various business-related documents including datasheets, functional processes, policies, engineering drawings, engineering changes, project reports, specifications, product proposals and product / Part documentation

Reports to the Manager , and the role involves,

What a typical day looks like: Manage the team and Assist Team members in solving technical queries

Provide support to Sites in performing component research and participate in component life cycle

Evaluate all components for various processes

Participate in resolving process related issues, time study analysis etc

Initiate process improvements

Provide training to new joiners

Assist/handle Site calls and queries, Monitor KPIs and suggest proactive actions

Maintain process documentation

Support Special projects and initiatives

Find Equivalents from PSL MFRs (Active commodities, electro mechanicals)

Compare and Maintain customer AMLs

The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.

Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.

Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of component engineering experience.

Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-llife (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN’s) to Purchasing and Engineering

Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.

Knowledge of any design software's .

Effective team building and delegation skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Must have good interpersonal and crucial conversation skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
