Data Lead - Microsoft Fabric

As a Data Lead AI & Modern Data Platform, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives and building secure, scalable cloud data platforms that support analytics and GenAI workloads. Your expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and AI-enabled data platforms will be crucial in defining architecture standards and driving technical decisions around data architecture, storage optimization, and compute patterns. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver scalable data solutions and mentor engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake. - Define architecture standards, best practices, and scalable data engineering frameworks. - Build and optimize data pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Semantic Models. - Enable AI/GenAI-ready data platforms and integrate ML solutions into enterprise workflows. - Implement data governance, lineage, metadata management, security, and compliance standards. - Establish platform observability, monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability practices. - Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau. - Lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive architecture decisions across multiple projects. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake Data Pipelines, Notebooks, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Models & Data Modeling, PySpark, and Advanced SQL. - Experience with Azure Cloud (Preferred), AI/ML & GenAI Data Workflows, Data Governance, Security & Compliance, Power BI & Tableau, Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management. - Experience with Azure AI Services and GenAI implementations, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks Certifications. - Exposure to MLOps, Cloud Migration, and Enterprise Data Modernization. - Strong understanding of distributed computing and large-scale cloud data platforms. This job requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience and is a Contract (C2C) position with locations in Pune, Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Chennai.
