As an experienced and driven NPD Manager, you will lead the New Product Development function at our Saki Naka facility. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Lead end-to-end new product development process including ideation, prototyping, testing, and final launch - Define product specifications, material selection, and design validation procedures - Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth product launches and identify opportunities for innovation - Design, document, and implement NPD SOPs and stage-gate processes - Build and maintain a structured NPD pipeline with clear timelines, milestones, and accountability - Lead and mentor a team of NPD engineers and executives, ensuring timely project delivery - Create and maintain NPD dashboards for tracking project status and performance metrics - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product roadmap with business needs - Ensure products meet quality, compliance, and cost targets before launch Qualifications required for this role: - B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Prior experience in New Product Development or Product Engineering - Experience setting up NPD systems, SOPs, and stage-gate processes - Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and advanced MS Excel - Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills - Strong structured thinking, documentation discipline, and stakeholder management skills Please note that candidates residing nearby or willing to commute to the office location will be preferred. If interested, please ensure you have the required qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and prior experience in setting up NPD SOPs or stage-gate processes before applying.
