Senior AI/ML Engineer (Chennai)

Job Title : Senior AI/ML Engineer Product Intelligence, Entity Resolution & AI Matching Location : Chennai, India Experience : 8-12 years About the Role: We are hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer with 8-12 years of experience to lead the design and development of enterprise-scale semantic search and product intelligence platforms. This role requires expertise in entity resolution, multimodal AI, retrieval systems, and cloud-native ML workflows to solve complex product matching and master data challenges. Key Responsibilities: Architect and lead entity resolution and product matching platforms across millions of records. Build AI-powered semantic retrieval systems using embeddings, vector search, and LLMs. Design ranking, scoring, and confidence calibration frameworks. Develop multimodal AI solutions (image-based product matching, attribute extraction). Implement RAG workflows for product enrichment and intelligent matching. Establish human-in-the-loop review workflows and active learning pipelines. Drive architecture, governance, scalability, and reliability for enterprise AI platforms. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business needs. Required Skills: Strong programming in Python and SQL. Deep expertise in semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, ANN indexing. Experience with cloud-native data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of fuzzy matching algorithms and retrieval evaluation metrics (Precision@K, Recall@K, nDCG). Exposure to multimodal AI, Generative AI, RAG, agentic workflows. Domain expertise in Retail, E-Commerce, FMCG, CPG, or Supply Chain preferred.
