About the role
Role Overview: As a Prin Info Security Risk Engineer IND at our highly successful Fortune 500 commercial property insurance company, you will be considered an Information Security subject matter expert (SME). You will work closely with enterprise and solution architects, product and service owners to understand security requirements and associated risks in moderate to large and complex business line and enterprise initiatives and solutions. Your role will involve identifying emerging threats, assessing cyber and information security risk exposures, and providing protection and mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will define security requirements for the organization to address the changing threat and technology landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the security assessment process with minimal guidance - Perform security assessments to ensure the organization's security policy requirements and risk mitigation expectations are met within the scope of moderate to large, complex business line and enterprise initiatives and solutions - Influence technical and business leaders to incorporate security requirements into designs and correct identified security risk issues - Perform research and analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends - Communicate with senior and executive leadership to promote security awareness and influence improvements - Proactively identify and influence changes to the security assessment program - Maintain cybersecurity expertise through training and industry knowledge updates - Contribute to FM Global security standards based on industry trends and internal environment assessment Qualifications Required: - 8 years of experience in Information Security - Ability to work collaboratively with technical experts, business managers, and senior leadership - Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and cybersecurity risk frameworks - Experience working with enterprise-level information security programs - Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration, decision-making, and organizational skills Additional Company Details: FM India is a strategic location for driving global operational efficiency.
