Manufacturing Engineering -II Professional (Assembly & Test)

As a Manufacturing Engineer II at TechnipFMC, your role involves managing the Assembly and Test scope within the Manufacturing Engineering function. Your responsibilities include: - Participating in the creation of production documentation, such as assembly test procedures, work instructions, and routings under the supervision of experienced engineers. - Assisting in the development of production processes to improve performance standards and meet strategic objectives by collaborating with various teams including Manufacturing and Design. - Developing and maintaining standard routings in SAP per module and product families to control costs and effectively plan lead times. - Creating written specifications for the design and supply of shop tools and reviewing/maintaining tooling configuration setup documentation. - Updating user documents based on 1st Article findings to reflect improvements and changes. - Supporting daily production needs by responding to and resolving flow disruptions and seeking guidance when required. - Reviewing drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure safe and efficient production following the DFx methodology and Safe System of Work standards. - Participating in Problem Solving events such as Root Cause Analysis and fault tree analysis. - Managing concurrent tasks across multiple projects and engaging with design teams early to influence product design for manufacturability. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Subsea/surface senior engineers and designers, manufacturing, operations, project management teams, and other discipline engineers internally, as well as with suppliers, contractors, and customers externally. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas manufacturing industry focusing on Assembly and Test, along with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience of 7 plus years. Key skills required include: - Understanding of CAD/CAM (NX), PLM Systems (TCE), and ERP Systems (SAP). - Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, production documentation, and routing. - Organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. - Service and customer-oriented mindset with good command of English. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
