Role Description The Java Specialist will work in a part-time, hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that support hospitality management and business operations. The role involves implementing and optimizing Jakarta EE components, building and maintaining microservices, and applying appropriate design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. The Java Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards. Documentation of technical solutions and participation in continuous improvement initiatives are also core aspects of this role. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Software Development and Programming skills with a focus on Java.Candidates should possess experience with Jakarta EE and Microservices for building enterprise and distributed applications.Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Design Patterns to create scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control tools (e.g., Git) is beneficial.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time schedules, and collaborate with diverse teams.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.Experience in hospitality, business solutions, or enterprise application development is an advantage.
