About the role
As a QA Automation Tester specializing in Selenium WebDriver with Java and Cucumber, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks. Your role will involve collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and execute test scripts for web applications. Additionally, you will integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines, perform various types of testing, analyze test results, and report defects using tools like JIRA. Furthermore, you will work on improving test coverage, optimizing automation execution time, participating in code reviews, and mentoring junior QA engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java - Implement BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber - Create, execute, and maintain test scripts for web applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies - Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) - Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing - Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA - Improve test coverage and optimize automation execution time - Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in automation - Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing - Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java and Cucumber (BDD Framework) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company operates in the Healthcare domain and offers a salary range of 45,000 to 1,00,000 per month. The work mode is Coimbatore/Remote, with shift timings from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The initial job type is for 1 month on a performance evaluation basis, during which PF benefits will not be applicable.
