About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer in the Data Research Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in managing data from acquisition to presentation, collaborating with other teams, and operating independently to enable data-driven decision-making and meet the organization's data needs. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain web applications focusing on front-end and back-end components. - Implement and enhance web application features using Python and Django for server-side development. - Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components for seamless data exchange. - Create efficient and reusable code for both back-end and front-end application components. - Design user-friendly interfaces using NextJS, HTML, and CSS, with knowledge of Angular as a plus. - Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and performance. - Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and adhere to coding standards. - Stay updated on emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas for application enhancements. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Estimate development efforts and achieve project deadlines. - Prioritize tasks for timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. - Continuously learn and expand technical knowledge as a full-stack developer. - Collaborate with team members and assist as required. - Leverage online resources effectively for development tasks. Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Proficiency in Python and experience with Django. - Familiarity with NextJS, HTML, CSS, Angular, SQL, and database systems. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with RESTful API development, Git, and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and other backend technologies. - Ideally, experience with Knime or similar data integration tools. - Familiarity with Python modules like Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and Docker containers. - Strong willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
