You'll have... Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

3+ years of experience with automotive electrical architectures

1+ years of experience with automotive microcontrollers and/or microprocessors (coursework/internship/co-op experience allowed)

1+ years of experience with simulation tools including MATLAB, Simulink, etc.

Strong analytical skills to break down problems and design effective solutions within the model.

Even better, you may have... Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Compute Engineering

5+ years’ experience with automotive electrical architectures

3+ years’ experience with simulation tools including MATLAB, Simulink, etc.

Detailed understanding of vehicle electrical systems and electrical design/development process, including GPDS

Experience with automotive and/or other advanced networking

Familiarity with ISO 26262

Familiarity with vehicle I/O

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, effectively explaining complex subjects to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This position is a salary grade of 6 to 8 and ranges from $74,300 - $166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
