As a software product manager, you will be joining the in-flight eDDL Replacement project which involves data-centric architecture leveraging cloud services with data integration from sources including Fords CMMS3 (legacy mainframe) and SAP S4 (strategic Material Requirement Planning platform. Your role will be to engage with cross-functional teams to become the eDDL SME, facilitate successful delivery amongst numerous give/gets dependencies, and integrating apps/teams. You will also position Ford to sustain and evolve the eDDL supplier collaboration capabilities beyond the current solution delivery partner engagement. Collaborating with other Supply Chain workstreams and enterprise ecosystems will be crucial to achieving integrations across multiple systems, even those outside your immediate responsibility. Additionally, you will collaborate with external and internal technical peers to define, unblock, and manage steps/actions towards deliverables. Driving delivery, production implementation, and post-launch sustainability will be essential to support the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Build personal and Ford expertise in supply chain collaboration, focusing on eDDL functionality such as part master data, launch part management, plant inventory, supplier promise, part transit, cum discrepancy challenges, part packaging, bulletin board communication, and supplier alerts. - Manage the eDDL product involving a cloud-based SaaS supplier collaboration platform, data integrations utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and data sourced from systems including legacy and strategic Material Requirements Planning systems. - Ensure product quality through engagement of involved parties and active involvement in quality actions. - Provide visibility to critical path dependencies and associated key decisions, escalating as needed, and ensuring timely resolutions to achieve delivery schedules. - Identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of Risks. - Ensure robust, up-to-date, and aligned artifacts from requirements to solution design, testing/validation, training, and support. - Innovate on the product manager process and ceremonies to ensure all work within the team produces the most value possible. - Act as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders for addressing functional needs, communication, cascades, updates, and uses the governance platform to report out and seek help wherever required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or equivalent. - Minimum 3 years of IT work experience with a disposition to learn and a commitment to quality work outcomes. - Experience in at least one of the following domains: supply chain, manufacturing, product development, purchasing. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate and establish trust and positive relationships across teams. - Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask questions, with an ability to operate with an Agile mentality in an ambiguous environment. - Experience working with solution partners, global teams, and multi-party integrations. - Ability to lead and guide teams through the delivery process, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. - Eager to work on a highly collaborative team fulfilling different roles and filling gaps. - Preferably, you may have Global business acumen in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Product Development. - Supply Chain management product/platform experience (cloud, SaaS), such as e2Open or Kinaxis. - Proven record of delivery as a Product Manager, including product launches. - Experience utilizing Jira (or Rally) for agile software delivery practices and ceremonies. - Experience with cloud services (preferably GCP) and SaaS platforms. - Understanding of software testing principles and practices, including test automation frameworks and tools.
