About the role
You'll have... Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Python/C++/Java/Kotlin software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms. Experience with functional testing and testing frameworks. Familiarity with Agile development processes.

Education: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
Experience: 5+ years of the aforementioned software testing experience. Experience with multi-process, multi-tasking, or multi-threaded applications. Experience testing software on embedded operating systems (Linux, Android, or QNX). Knowledge of automotive product development and quality processes (e.g., A-SPICE, CMMI, FMEA). Experience with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi). Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion). Experience generating test cases from requirements and automating tests using LLMs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team. The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $89,000.00 to $139,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
