About the role
As a Junior Network Support Engineer at our company located in Faridabad, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring network performance to ensure availability and reliability. - Providing first-level support for network-related incidents. - Troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues. - Configuring and maintaining network devices such as switches, routers, access points, and firewalls under supervision. - Assisting in network installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities. - Creating and maintaining network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories. - Escalating complex issues to senior network engineers when necessary. - Supporting user onboarding, network access requests, and connectivity troubleshooting. - Participating in routine network health checks and preventive maintenance. - Following IT security policies and best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV and the maintenance of laser machines. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. - Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, VPN, and Wireless Networking. - Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and techniques. - Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
