Senior Engineer - PPC

Job Description for the Position: Logistics Planner Responsible for developing and implementing logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within the constraints of operational capabilities. Coordinate with supply chain on capacity planning and logistics issues, including transportation, delivery, and warehousing. Analyze logistical problems, develop new solutions and work continuously on improving existing logistics processes. Monitor the entire supply chain from order placement to delivery, ensuring orders are processed efficiently. Implement and manage the inventory control systems and processes, providing accurate and timely information for order fulfillment. Collaborate effectively with various internal departments such as sales, production, purchasing, and warehousing. Assist in identifying and managing risk within the supply chain. Maintain excellent relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts and rates. Utilize IT systems to manage shipping times, costs and stock levels. Prepare detailed reports on logistics operations, costs, and key performance metrics. Ensure all current laws, regulations, standards and best practices are adhered to within the scope of distribution and logistics.
