About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Python. The ideal candidate should have 47 years of experience in the software testing field, with at least 3 years in Selenium automation and 2 years in Python scripting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the highest level of software quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Python. Develop reusable test frameworks and libraries. Perform UI and API testing, validate data, and automate regression test cases. Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Document test results, report bugs, and track them through resolution. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation. Must-Have Skills : Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver (min 3 years) Solid hands-on in Python scripting (min 2 years) Experience with frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest Experience in API Testing using Postman/REST Assured Familiar with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies Knowledge of TestNG or PyTest, HTML/XML/JSON, and test reporting tools Nice-to-Have Skills : Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments Experience in performance testing is a plus Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Python.
