Quality Engineer - Selenium

Below is the detailed JD for Quality Engineer profile : - The candidate should have experience in JAVA development and should be able to articulate and answer JAVA programming questions. Automation Knowledge : - Should have atleast 3-4 years of experience in Selenium. - Should understand the Selenium framework completely. - Should have knowledge on API Framework. - Should be able to answer queries based on practical knowledge. - Should have working experience on Salesforce application and automating it through Selenium. (Salesforce certification preferred) Experience : 6+ Years, Relevant should be 3-4 years in Selenium automation with JAVA. Responsibilities : - Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures. - Monitor all operations that affect quality. - Review and analyze product specifications. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and create effective test plans. - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test suites, including test cases and test data. - Execute test cases manually and automate test execution where feasible. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them using defect tracking tools. - Verify bug fixes and ensure that defects are resolved. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies. - Collaborate with other QA team members to ensure consistency in testing practices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices. Testing Expertise : - Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing test cases and test plans. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, integration, system, acceptance testing). - Proficiency in test case management tools and defect tracking systems. - Experience in writing clear, concise, and well-structured test reports. Test Automation : - Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG). - Ability to create maintainable and reusable test automation frameworks. - Analytical & Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and report software defects. - Ability to root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
