About the role
Role : Senior Software Engineer - Front-End Developer (React / Next.js / Kogito) Experience : 5+ Years Location : Noida/Bangalore/Pune/Hybrid Role Purpose : The Senior Software Engineer - Front-End Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting secure, scalable, and user-friendly web applications and enterprise portals using React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript. The role will support front-end development for digital banking platforms, workflow-based applications, and enterprise portals, ensuring responsive design, API integration, workflow customization, performance optimization, and production stability. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, DevOps teams, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-quality digital banking and workflow management solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards. Key Accountabilities : - Develop and maintain enterprise front-end applications using React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript. - Build scalable, reusable, and responsive UI components aligned with enterprise standards. - Customize and enhance Kogito Task Console UI and workflow-based user interfaces. - Develop SSR/SSG-based portal applications using Next.js. - Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with front-end applications. - Implement maker-checker workflows, approval journeys, and workflow-driven UI components. - Ensure responsive design, browser compatibility, accessibility, and optimized user experience. - Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX, workflow, deployment, and production issues. - Collaborate with backend, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams during development and release cycles. - Support Git-based CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities. - Participate in SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-production support. - Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, performance optimization, and enterprise governance practices. - Provide L2/L3 support, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes for production issues. Mandatory Skills / Knowledge : - 5+ years of experience in frontend development using React.js, Next.js, and JavaScript. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining internal portals or enterprise web applications using Next.js (SSR/SSG). - Strong experience with React Hooks, Context API, and component-driven architecture. - Experience with Kogito Task Console UI customizations and workflow-based front-end development. - Good understanding of Kogito process/task lifecycle, user tasks, and approval workflows. - Experience customizing task forms, task inbox, task details, workflow actions, and filters. - Ability to integrate Kogito UI with backend workflow APIs and business services. - Understanding of BPMN-based workflows and process-driven UI behavior. - Experience supporting maker-checker, approval matrix, and role-based workflow routing. - Familiarity with Kogito Management Console, Jobs Service, Data Index, and Task Console concepts. - Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs with frontend applications. - Experience with Git-based CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment workflows. - Familiarity with containerized deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - Good understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX and deployment issues in production environments. - Understanding of authentication and authorization integration using Keycloak, SSO, roles, and permissions. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Experience working in banking or financial services domain is preferred. - Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Preferred Skills / Knowledge : - Experience with TypeScript in large-scale React applications. - Familiarity with PatternFly, Ant Design, Material UI, or similar enterprise UI component libraries. - Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards. - Basic knowledge of Docker containers and cloud-native application deployment. - Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, or container orchestration platforms. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. - Knowledge of frontend security best practices and secure coding standards. Education : Bachelor's Degree in : - Computer Science - Information Technology - Software Engineering Or related field.
