Software Developer (Backend) - .Net

Role Overview: As a Software Developer (Backend) at Foxsense Innovations, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and shipping high-value software solutions that address real-world problems. You will focus on security, performance, simplicity, usability, and maintainability while mentoring and guiding less experienced software engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Work within established agile methods, promoting continuous improvement and learning new technologies and best practices. - Document knowledge, report obstacles and roadblocks, and participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other team meetings. - Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate effort, and design enterprise-level software architecture. - Develop software that meets requirements and specifications, following the software development life cycle and established source control standards. - Validate QA findings, fix defects, develop integration points for testing, and support release planning and releases. - Assist the support team as needed, including root cause analysis and writing maintenance scripts for measuring and monitoring. Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of languages and scripts like C# and SQL, tools such as Visual Studio, libraries & frameworks like .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API development, RESTful API best practices, and modern C# concepts like async/await and LINQ. - Knowledge of automated testing, .Net MVC Web Development, JavaScript Frameworks, architecture, service-oriented processes & standards, and agile methodologies. - Bonus skills include excellent communication, documentation, continuous learning, collaboration, troubleshooting, problem-solving, mentoring, and business analysis.
