About the role
Role Overview: You will be working as a Senior Digital Buildings Engineer at FPC Global, a fast-growing consultancy known for delivering exceptional outcomes across the full facility lifecycle. As a key member of the Digital Buildings Engineering team, you will provide technical leadership in smart building integration and mission-critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth integration, optimization, and security of applications on cloud platforms. - Troubleshoot issues, manage performance, and align cloud solutions with business objectives. - Deliver technical and some non-technical engineering services and projects for clients. - Design and configure BMS architectures, control philosophies, and sequences of operation. - Analyze and map legacy BMS, HVAC, and IoT systems for cloud migration and master systems integration. - Architect secure data pipelines and establish protocols to process building data. - Enforce cybersecurity measures and access controls for operational data protection. - Manage full-lifecycle engineering services, testing, and troubleshooting. - Collaborate with stakeholders for system alignment, training, and reporting. - Test, validate, and troubleshoot application drivers across IoT devices. - Support device manufacturers for driver development and compliance improvement. - Mentor and train DB engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices. Qualification Required: - 8 to 12+ years of experience in building automation systems design, cloud integration, or IT infrastructure. - Hands-on experience in systems integration, architecture, design, or construction. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices for cloud integrations. - Bachelors degree in Controls Engineering or a related field. - Certifications in BMS systems like Niagara, Delmatic, Delta, LoRaWAN are beneficial. - Technical expertise in digital and smart building projects. - Knowledge of IP Networking, system audits, and site surveys. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Certification in any of the cloud platforms is beneficial. - Data center specific BMS design, configuration, and commissioning experience is an added advantage.
