Job Description: Responsibilities Integration Landscape & Technical Delivery Develop a deep understanding of the overall HR Integration Landscape with a focus on Workday integrations across BCAT processes. Collaborate with Technical Product Owners, Workday Functional Consultants, and business stakeholders to design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations. Lead or support integration workstreams for: Workday Core Integrations Shape‑IN middleware for ASES (Germany shift scheduling & time tracking) Workday Integration Development Build and maintain Workday integrations using: Core Connector (CCB/CCT) Workday Studio Document Transformation (DT) PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface) Develop APIs and interface logic that support Compensation, Benefits, Payroll‑related changes, Absence, and Time Tracking data flows. Shape‑IN Middleware Responsibilities Create mappings and scripts for new attributes required by ASES/Shape‑IN. Execute and validate initial data loads, including mapping, transformation, and reconciliation. Monitor daily and scheduled Shape‑IN integrations, resolving failures and performance issues. Support enhancements to improve reliability and end‑to‑end traceability of the system. Continuous Improvement & Technology Advisory Stay informed about new integration capabilities and Workday technical innovations (e.g., Workday Orchestrate , API improvements, event framework). Recommend integration landscape optimizations aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Provide technical consultation and act as a trusted advisor to the integration lead/POC. Testing & Delivery Support business testing, integration testing, and end‑to‑end validation activities. Produce technical documentation including TDDs, mapping sheets, and runbooks. Contribute independently to deliverables with minimal supervision. Key Skills & Qualifications Workday & Technical Expertise Hands‑on experience with Workday Integrations: Core Connector Document Transformation Workday Studio PECI Strong understanding of: Compensation & Advanced Compensation Benefits processes Time Tracking & Absence Management Payroll‑related data flows API & Development Skills Experience designing and developing API‑based integrations . Strong proficiency in: XML JSON XSLT XPath API authentication & payload validation Java‑based exception handling (within Studio/DT workflows) Additional Knowledge Good understanding of Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, RaaS). Experience working in Agile/Kanban delivery teams. Ability to troubleshoot integration errors across Workday, middleware, and third‑party systems.
