Support Engineer Night Shift

As a Support Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a Long Term Contract, you will be expected to have at least 4-5 years of experience in IT with a banking background, including 1-2 years in a role involving the handling of application systems and technical systems. Your strong experience in team collaboration within a service-oriented culture is essential for this role. Additionally, you should possess working knowledge and experience of banking operations and related challenges. Knowledge and ability to apply quality control techniques are also required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a must, while Arabic language skills would be considered an advantage. You should be willing and flexible to work in night shifts as per business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Deployment, scaling, and basic administration of OpenShift (Red Hat) Container Platform - Cluster management, deployments, and Kubernetes operations on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) - Administration, performance tuning, and SQL development on Oracle Database 19c - Integration, service orchestration, and middleware capabilities on Temenos (Kony) Fabric Platform - Enterprise Service Bus observability on TIBCO ESB - Configuration and automation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Pipelines - Kubernetes autoscaling configuration and optimization with HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaling) - Data extraction, transformation, and loading operations using ETL Tools & Processes - Modern front-end application debugging capabilities on React JS - Basic administration and deployment workflows on IBM WebSphere - Managing publishing, versioning, and release processes on Android & iOS App Store Management - Working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and other relational database engines Qualifications Required: - At least 4-5 years of experience in IT with a banking background - 1-2 years of experience in handling application and technical systems - Strong team collaboration skills within a service-oriented culture - Working knowledge of banking operations and related challenges - Ability to apply quality control techniques - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic language skills would be an advantage - Willingness and flexibility to work in night shifts as per business requirements You will be working with a variety of technologies and platforms to ensure smooth operations and performance of the systems.
