Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced person in Data Governance to lead our data governance initiatives and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of our data assets across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful data governance programs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework and strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirementsDefine data governance policies, standards, and procedures that ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the organizationEstablish and maintain data lineage, metadata management, and data dictionary processes to support data governance initiativesLead data quality assessments and remediation efforts to identify and resolve data quality issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership and stewardship roles and responsibilities, and ensure compliance with data management regulations, such as GDPR and CCPADevelop and execute data governance metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance practicesEducate and train employees on data governance policies, procedures, and best practicesStay up-to-date with emerging data governance trends, technologies, and practices to continuously improve data governance processes and outcomesManage a team of data governance professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the success of the data governance program.Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fieldsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldsStrong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and technologiesExperience developing and implementing data governance frameworks and strategiesStrong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with data quality assessment and remediation processesKnowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA, and their impact on data governance practices.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
