Where You Will Work

What You Will Do Install, maintain, and support a wide range of onboard and wireless technologies used in Mine Operations, including fleet management, safety, reliability, monitoring, and production systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize equipment downtime. Perform preventative maintenance and testing on low-voltage devices, wireless networks, and associated infrastructure. Maintain accurate documentation and follow Standard Operating Procedures. Support 2-way radios, GPS systems, and wireless clients for heavy and light vehicles. Participate in safety and environmental programs and ensure compliance with MIS policies. Deliver strong customer service while managing tasks efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To Freeport

Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

Strong organizational and customer service skills

Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Ability to work in a physically demanding and potentially stressful environment

Willingness to work in extreme conditions including temperature, humidity, and exposure to chemicals or airborne particles

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/IT related field preferred

• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field preferred

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• CompTIA Network+, A+, or equivalent certification preferred

• Rajant, Cisco, or similar network certification preferred

• Electrical/Electronic certification preferred

• Autonomous technology troubleshooting experience preferred

• Two (2) years of experience supporting wireless networks and onboard technologies in mining or industrial environments preferred

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently  $28.00 - $38.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
