QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate has 57 years of experience in manual testing and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products through rigorous manual testing. Responsibilities Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies based on project requirements. Perform various types of manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies using a bug tracking system. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development process. Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide detailed and accurate bug reports with clear steps to reproduce. Participate in requirement reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve the overall quality of the product. Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies. Requirements 57 years of professional experience in manual software testing. Proven expertise in the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or equivalent). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment. Experience with testing mobile, web, and desktop applications is a plus.
