Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities: Lead the electrical team in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective and preventive actions Provide technical justification and support project managers in executing equipment upgrades Support a lean manufacturing environment by applying PDCA cycles to engineering changes and effectively communicating status to stakeholders Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7 operations Ensure electrical safety requirements are properly defined and implemented, including risk assessments, performance levels, and PPE selection Develop detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing or production environment Proficient in AutoCAD and PLC programming/troubleshooting Working knowledge of industrial automation systems and coordinated machinery Experience with analog controls preferred Familiarity with control voltages, including 24V, 120V, 480V, and 4160V ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
