Platform Architect - Service Now

As a Platform Architect at Service Now, your role involves defining and governing the overall architecture, strategy, and scalability of the Service Now platform across the enterprise. You will lead platform roadmap planning, upgrade strategy, security and compliance alignment, performance optimization, and instance management while mentoring architects and developers. Acting as a strategic advisor to IT leadership, you will ensure the platform remains stable, secure, scalable, and capable of supporting evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Define and own strategic roadmap for Service Now Platform - Align platform capabilities with the business strategy - Decide module adoption and scale up technically (ITSM, HR, IRM, Secops, CMDB, etc.) - Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to HR, risk, and compliance leadership - Identify opportunities to enhance employee and risk management journeys through automation, AI, and analytics - Ensure platform scalability, compliance, and alignment with Service Now best practices and governance frameworks - Define Architectural Standards and ensure scalable and reusable design - Review solution designs from architects and developers - Approve integrations and customizations - Control Technical Debt on the platform - Own integration with Azure, Monitoring tools, and Security tools - Define API governance and integration patterns - Ensure Secure configurations and compliance with security standards - Drive process standardization and automation across HR case management, lifecycle events, policy management, and risk workflows - Measure and report on business value, adoption metrics, and continuous improvement outcomes - Evaluate new Service Now capabilities and lead enhancements Qualifications Required: - Deep Service Now Architectural Knowledge and Certified Technical Architect - Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, scripting, and integration methods - Performance Optimization and CMDB Architecture knowledge - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills - Expertise in Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tools - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills - Certified System Administrator - Prior experience in managing platform roadmap, vendor engagement, and COE governance Joining the Service Now team will offer you a comprehensive benefits package, value your well-being, support your development, and provide flexibility in where and when you work.
