Java Backend Dev

You will be joining Fulcrum Digital, an agile and next-generation digital accelerating company that specializes in providing digital transformation and technology services across various industries such as banking, insurance, retail, education, healthcare, and manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining Java-based applications capable of handling high volume and low-latency requirements - Analyzing user requirements to define business objectives, envision system features, and functionality - Ensuring that application designs align with business goals - Developing and testing software, identifying and resolving technical issues - Creating detailed design documentation - Proposing changes to the current Java infrastructure - Implementing technical designs for application development To be successful in this role, you must have: - Strong understanding of Java 8/11 concepts, collections types, multi-threading, exception handling best practices, design patterns, data structures - Experience with Spring Boot, Spring JPA, SQL or Postgres, REST API development, microservices patterns, unit testing - Problem-solving skills and troubleshooting methodologies - Strong communication skills - Proactive and self-starter mindset - Experience working in an Agile environment It would be advantageous if you have experience with: - Kafka - UI development using Angular/React - Distributed systems - Splunk This position is based in Pune, India.
