Sr Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, and modern DevOps practices, ensuring reliability, security, and high availability of cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Build and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, cost, and reliability. Implement security best practices, identity management, and compliance policies. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud-native applications. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution. Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and operational procedures. Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles. Strong experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates). Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and monitoring tools. Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration. Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Administrator / Architect Google Professional Cloud Architect Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications. Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
