Role Overview: As a senior actuary, you will lead a team of actuaries, providing critical actuarial support for the company's pricing, reserving, and capital modeling processes. Your expertise will be vital for the company's financial stability and growth. You will play a key role in leading actuarial analyses, managing actuarial models, mentoring junior actuaries, and actively participating in discussions on key business decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, and capital modeling. - Manage and maintain actuarial models. - Mentor and guide junior actuaries. - Develop and implement actuarial methodologies. - Prepare actuarial reports for management. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure actuarial considerations are incorporated into business decisions. - Stay abreast of the latest actuarial techniques and regulations. Qualifications Required: - Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (or equivalent). - Extensive experience in general insurance actuarial work. - Strong leadership and mentoring skills. - Deep understanding of actuarial methodologies and techniques. - Proficiency in actuarial software. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
