About the role
As a Product Designer for a remote company operating in GMT+8 timezone on a contract basis, your role will involve designing user-centered digital products with a focus on interaction design and seamless web experiences. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into intuitive design solutions. Your responsibilities will also include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to bring clarity to complex workflows. Additionally, you will be conducting and analyzing user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to iterate and improve designs. It will be crucial for you to maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across platforms and partner with engineering teams to implement scalable, component-driven design systems using React.js and Next.js. Staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI, SaaS, and marketplace design will be essential for excelling in this role. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, Interaction Designer, or UX/UI Designer. - Strong portfolio showcasing successful SaaS, productivity, or marketplace projects with measurable impact on usability or business outcomes. - Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, or webflow. - Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design patterns, and accessibility standards. - Experience conducting user research and usability testing. - Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional product teams. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.
