As a UI/UX Designer at GB International, you will play a crucial role in designing seamless and impactful digital products. You will focus on creating user-centered designs that balance business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with company visionaries, product management, business teams, and engineering to translate strategic goals into seamless digital experiences. - Responsive Layout Design: Design intuitive and scalable web application layouts optimized for desktop and mobile screens, ensuring fluid and accessible user experiences. - UX Research & Frameworks: Develop detailed User Personas, map out Use Cases, and chart Golden Paths to streamline user workflows. - Prototyping & Wireframing: Translate conceptual user flows into Low-Fidelity wireframes for rapid feedback and graduate them into interactive High-Fidelity prototypes. - Applying UX Psychology: Utilize established Laws of UI/UX to justify design decisions and optimize user conversion rates. - Developer Handoff: Work closely with the development team to ensure smooth design handoffs and provide well-structured design assets. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience: 1 year of professional experience in designing web-based applications for both desktop and mobile. - Core UX Methodologies: Understanding of Persona Mapping, Use Case creation, and defining Golden Paths for complex application user journeys. - Design Toolkit: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and AI design tools. - Design Execution: Ability to create interactive, testable High-Fi components and prototypes. - Theoretical Knowledge: Deep understanding of UI/UX laws, layout grids, typography, color theory, and web accessibility guidelines. - Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders. Preferred skills include basic HTML5/CSS3 knowledge, experience in user testing, and a structured portfolio showcasing the design process.
