We're Hiring: Design Head | G M Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Location: Rajkot, Gujarat Industry: Industrial Valves Manufacturing At G M Engineering Pvt. Ltd. , we have been pioneering excellence in industrial valve manufacturing for over 25 years. As we continue to strengthen our leadership in high-performance valves for critical applications, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary Design Head to lead our Design & Development team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 10 Design Engineers to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. Drive new product development and continuous improvement of existing valve designs. Ensure strict compliance with API 6D, API 600, API 603, ASME, and other international valve standards . Oversee design validation, prototyping, testing, and documentation for critical applications. Collaborate closely with production, quality, and sales teams to align design with customer needs. Mentor and build technical capabilities within the team, fostering a culture of R&D and innovation . Requirements Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). 10–15 years of experience in valve design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. In-depth technical knowledge of API 6D, API 600, and API 603 standards is mandatory. Strong background in industrial valve design, pressure equipment, and critical applications . Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and design simulation software . Excellent leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
