About the role
As a Principal Software Engineer in our DataSystems & Analytics Team, you will be responsible for capturing SnapLogic platform usage data, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer behavior. What You ll Do: Design and build real-time analytical pipelines for the high volume data. Implement and deliver high-quality features that are built for speed, scale, and usability. Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed. Monitoring data performance and modifying infrastructure as needed. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other DataSystem engineers. What We re Looking For: Minimum of 8 years of experience writing, testing, and debugging production quality code. Background in distributed systems, and large-scale data processing. Excellent design, development, and communication skills and Programming experience, ideally in Java, Spark, Kafka, or Python, and a willingness to learn new programming languages to meet goals and objectives. Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting, with an understanding of the best, most efficient use of associated tools and applications to complete these tasks.
