As a Data Scientist at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing large volumes of data, building machine learning models, and delivering data-driven solutions to address real-world problems. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading large data science projects and delivering innovative technical solutions to enhance business outcomes - Designing, developing, testing, validating, and deploying Machine Learning (ML) / Statistical models - Working closely with engineers to deploy models to production and track model performance - Building complex data sets from multiple sources and writing data flows using SQL, Spark, and scripting languages - Utilizing data visualization tools to share ongoing insights and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences - Functioning as a subject matter expert on machine learning and predictive modeling - Engaging with key business stakeholders to discuss opportunities and drive wider adoption of analytics across the enterprise In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant major; Masters or PhD preferred - 10 years of industry experience in Data Science/Machine Learning as a mid-senior data scientist/technical lead - Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Scala, and data analysis using Relational Databases and Hadoop - Experience leading complex data science projects from development to production - Familiarity with Apache Spark, other Big Data analytics tools, and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and Agile methodologies In addition, the work environment is described as fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding. This role may involve late evening work to overlap with US work hours. The office setup is hybrid, and the work location is flexible across India.
