About the role
As a Business Analyst at Gainwell, you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills to harness the power of technology for improving the health and well-being of the members served by our clients, particularly the community's most vulnerable individuals. Your role will involve being part of the innovative process that starts with design and culminates in solutions that enable our clients to enhance health and human services outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the design, documentation, and delivery of technical architecture solution components. - Facilitate communication between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are accurately met, resulting in a positive ROI for clients. - Assist in defining and developing project requirements, functional specifications, and application solution designs using appropriate development methodologies and industry standards. - Develop technical documentation, test plans, and provide support for integration and deployment activities. - Collaborate with a team of software developers to propel Gainwell and client objectives forward. - Utilize knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software, with a preference for expertise in web service development. - Apply basic software design, development, and implementation methodologies. - Demonstrate proficiency in basic data analysis and software testing to create requirements and test modifications and enhancements. - Exhibit strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with colleagues and leaders in a remote work environment. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software, with a preference for web service development knowledge. - Familiarity with basic software design, development, and implementation methodologies. - Proficiency in basic data analysis and software testing to create requirements and test modifications and enhancements. - Strong team player with effective collaboration and communication skills in a remote work setting.
