About the role
Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create detailed designs and engineering drawings for road plant equipment, including batch plants, crushers, and other construction machinery. Project Management: Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and construction, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the development of prototypes and conduct tests to validate design specifications and performance. Innovation: Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation, incorporating new technologies and materials into design processes. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides. Candidate Requirements : Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the construction equipment manufacturing industry. Software Knowledge: Must have experience in CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor /SolidWorks /Solidedge) Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work.
