Overview: Overview Youll help turn complex insurance data into clear views of catastrophe risk. Youll support seniors on larger renewals and work on your own for smaller, simpler books. Youll use leading catastrophe models and WTWs own models to prepare data, test assumptions, and build loss views. The work changes as priorities shift, so youll need to learn fast, stay adaptable, and work well with different people. How You'll Make an Impact Youll prepare, clean, and edit data in SQL and Excel so its ready for model runs. Youll geocode exposures, apply the right model and peril settings, and help produce exposure and loss summary reports. Youll also build maps and visuals in tools such as SpatialKey and ArcGIS, run proprietary peril analyses, and test how results change when inputs change. When youre supporting bigger projects, youll keep in touch with the onshore lead analyst, share progress, flag anything important, and ask for feedback when its needed.
