Job Title: Data Architect Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time Department: Data & Analytics / IT Reports to: Director of Data Engineering / CTO Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and optimize our enterprise data architecture. You will be responsible for setting data standards, defining best practices, and guiding the organization in the effective use of data. Your primary goal will be to ensure the scalability, security, and accessibility of our data systems to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational needs. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise-scale data platform initiatives, solution design, and pre-sales engagements. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modern data engineering technologies, cloud platforms, and architecture frameworks, along with the ability to engage with clients and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Solution Design Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. Define data architecture, data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks. Create architecture blueprints and solution roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Recommend best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption. Pre-Sales & Consulting Participate in client discovery workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. Lead solutioning discussions and propose architecture approaches for customer use cases. Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, effort estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW). Support RFP/RFI responses and client presentations. Work closely with sales and delivery teams to drive new business opportunities. Technical Leadership Provide architectural guidance to Data Engineering teams. Review designs, code quality, and implementation approaches. Mentor engineers on architecture principles and best practices.
