About the internship: As a SOC Analyst intern at Gateway Software Solutions, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and gain hands-on experience in the cybersecurity field. You will be an integral part of our team, assisting in monitoring and analyzing security events using tools such as Splunk and other security tools. Your role will involve identifying and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing network security measures to protect our systems and data. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Monitor and analyze security events using Splunk and other security tools. 2. Assist in identifying and responding to security incidents in a timely manner. 3. Conduct research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities to enhance our cybersecurity defenses. 4. Collaborate with SOC team members to investigate and remediate security incidents. 5. Implement network security measures to secure our systems and data. 6. Document security incidents, procedures, and best practices for future reference. 7. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in cybersecurity.
