About the role
We are seeking an experienced DGM Architecture & Planning to lead architectural planning, design, and execution for large-scale real estate projects. The role involves design management, consultant coordination, statutory compliance, and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural planning and design activities from concept development through project execution for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, working drawings, coordination drawings, and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, ensuring timely release as per project schedules. Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultants to ensure seamless design integration and effective project execution. Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building byelaws, statutory regulations, RERA guidelines, environmental norms, and safety standards. Prepare and vet Builder-Buyer Agreement (BBA) documents, including parking plans, carpet area calculations, unit specifications, and other project-related documentation. Review architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings to maintain high standards of design quality, functionality, and accuracy. Monitor project design milestones, minimize design revisions, and resolve site-related architectural issues to ensure timely project delivery. Work closely with engineering, construction, procurement, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and design intent. Drive cost-effective, innovative, and sustainable design solutions while maintaining quality and project objectives. Stay updated with the latest architectural materials, construction technologies, software, and global design trends, implementing best practices wherever applicable. Mentor and lead the Architecture & Planning team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficient consultant coordination, and continuous process improvement. Desired Candidate Profile B.Arch. from a recognized institution (Post-graduation preferred). 1215 years of experience in Architecture & Planning within the real estate industry. Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, RERA, building bye-laws, and construction practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
