Embedded Firmware Developer

Role Overview: You will be an Embedded Firmware Developer at Geatpec Electronics Pvt. Ltd. working in the R&D - Embedded Systems department in Delhi, India. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, debug, and maintain firmware for various industrial, IoT, wireless sensing, automation, and embedded control products. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems. - Develop drivers for various peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485/Modbus, USB, ADC/DAC, PWM, and Timers. - Develop communication protocols and application logic while implementing low-power firmware architectures. - Optimize memory utilization and system performance. - Work closely with hardware engineers during schematic and PCB development, perform board bring-up, and validate new hardware. - Debug hardware and firmware issues using tools like Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Multimeter, and Protocol Analyzers. - Develop firmware for wireless technologies like LoRa/LoRaWAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, Cellular Modules (4G/NB-IoT/Cat-M), and implement cloud connectivity and edge-device communication. - Develop applications using FreeRTOS, CMSIS-RTOS, and Embedded Linux (preferred), and design task scheduling, inter-process communication, and fault recovery mechanisms. - Participate in the complete product lifecycle from requirement analysis to field deployment and production support, including preparing technical documentation and release notes. Qualification Required: - Strong programming skills in C and Embedded C. - Good understanding of C++ for embedded systems. - Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, STM32, ESP32, Nordic nRF Series, NXP, Renesas, TI Microcontrollers. - Knowledge of Interrupts, DMA, Bootloaders, Memory Management, State Machines, Power Optimization. - Strong debugging skills and experience using JTAG/SWD debugging tools. - Version Control knowledge in Git, branching, and release management workflows.
