Data Engineer

Role Overview: You are being offered a Contract role as a Data Engineer for our client in India, which is a Remote position. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding data management techniques, implementing data management activities across various domains, developing quantitative models, and deploying analytical models into production. The team you will be a part of focuses on leveraging data, analytics, robotics, science, and cognitive technologies to make data-driven decisions that add value to the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Understand data management techniques and implementation styles utilized in the industry - Perform data management activities focusing on various data domains using an industry-accredited tool - Develop quantitative models using fuzzy/probabilistic algorithm-based features - Implement a data stewardship framework to optimize stewardship processes - Conduct technical risk analysis, reliability assessments, and advanced analyses - Build, test, validate, and demonstrate analytical models using relevant error metrics and calibration techniques - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data migration and support existing production processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience - 7+ years of experience with ETL / MDM tools and processes - 7+ years of experience in Informatica MDM 10.x versions with development skills in ETL with ICS/IDQ - 3+ years of experience in MDM implementations including data profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, and processing - Strong expertise in Informatica MDM Hub Match and Merge rules, batch jobs, and batch groups - Experience in building solution architecture, data pipelines, and technical workflows - Proficient in data integration, data quality, data architecture, and master data management - Strong communication and networking skills for coordination with technical and non-technical teams Additional Details of the Company: Yum D&T (Digital & Technology) India is seeking a seasoned Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) Architect who will be responsible for architecting and implementing MDM data solutions using Informatica MDM.
