UI Engineer

Job Title: UI Engineer Location: Taramani, Chennai Experience: 2–4 Years Work Mode: On-site Job Summary We are looking for a creative and technically capable UI Engineer to design and develop modern, responsive, and visually polished interfaces for enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should combine strong visual design skills with hands-on front-end development experience in Angular. Proficiency in Figma, Angular 16+, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS , along with experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, Replit, or Lovable, is required. Key Responsibilities Design and develop clean, intuitive, and responsive interfaces for enterprise web applications. Translate product requirements into wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and functional UI components. Build reusable and maintainable components using Angular and TypeScript. Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI standards. Implement responsive layouts using HTML and CSS. Develop clear and effective interfaces for data-intensive applications. Integrate front-end components with REST APIs and backend services. Ensure visual consistency between Figma designs and developed interfaces. Optimise interfaces for performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility. Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, and other stakeholders. Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate design, development, testing, debugging, and code refinement. Participate in code reviews and application release activities. Required Skills And Experience 2–4 years of experience in UI engineering or front-end development. Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, design libraries, and prototyping. Strong understanding of visual design, typography, colour, layout, spacing, and responsive design. Experience creating reusable, component-based interfaces and maintaining design systems. Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs. Hands-on experience with data visualisation and charting libraries Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance optimisation. Hands-on experience with at least one AI-assisted development tool such as Cursor, Codex, Replit, Lovable, or a similar platform. Ability to translate designs into accurate, production-ready interfaces. A strong portfolio or project examples demonstrating both design capability and front-end implementation.
